Understanding the Client’s Vision

The project began with a detailed consultation with the Furry Paws team to understand their needs and vision. The goal was to create a landing page that would effectively promote their services, with a focus on user engagement and appealing design.

  • Initial Meeting: Discussed project objectives, target audience, and key messages.
  • Key Insight: The landing page needed to convey warmth and trust, appealing to pet lovers.

Research and Inspiration

 

I conducted thorough research on competitors’ websites and landing pages in the pet care industry to gather inspiration and identify design trends that would resonate with the target audience.

  • Competitor Analysis: Analyzed top pet service sites to understand what worked well in terms of layout, color schemes, and content.
  • Trend Identification: Noted modern design elements, such as minimalist layouts and strong visual storytelling.

Wireframing and Sketching

Before diving into the actual design, I sketched wireframes to organize the layout of the landing page. This allowed me to plan the flow of information and key sections like the hero banner, testimonials, services, and call-to-action buttons.

  • Wireframe Drafts: Created multiple versions for client review.
  • Client Approval: Presented sketches for feedback and made adjustments based on input.

Designing in Figma

Once the wireframe was approved, I moved on to Figma for the actual design. I ensured that the landing page was visually appealing, easy to navigate, and mobile-responsive.

  • Color Palette & Typography: Chose a friendly and welcoming color scheme with pet-related graphics.
  • Graphics and Visuals: Created custom graphics that aligned with the brand’s identity.
  • User Experience: Focused on simplicity and clarity, ensuring users could find the information they needed quickly.

Content Writing

To complement the visuals, I wrote concise yet engaging copy for the landing page. The content highlighted Furry Paws’ services, their commitment to pet care, and a strong call to action encouraging users to sign up or learn more.

  • Key Focus: Clear, friendly, and informative tone that appealed to pet owners.
  • SEO Consideration: Used relevant keywords to improve organic search visibility.

Client Feedback and Final Touches

After presenting the first version of the landing page, I gathered feedback from Ms. Sarah  and made final adjustments to the design, content, and overall layout.

  • Revisions: Incorporated client feedback on content placement and design elements.
  • Testing: Ensured that the landing page worked seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.

Project Completion and Recognition

The final landing page exceeded client expectations in terms of both design and functionality. The success of the project led to increased user engagement, which contributed to Furry Paws’ growing community. As a result of my hard work and dedication, I was recognized with the Top Contributor Award.
